Activated-carbon is best suited for adsorption of gaseous, molecular substances and odours. Activated-carbon filters are used for the treatment of toxic gases, solvent vapours and emissions as well as for purification and conditioning of liquids. Activated carbon is offered as granulate or carbon mould blocks. To meet specific demands, the activated-carbon construction can be especially impregnated (i.e. adsorption of sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, chloric gas, etc.) Technical data (standard activated carbon) Bulk density (kg/m3): 470 ±20 Moisture content (wt.%): <5 Diameter of particles: 3mm Total surface area (m2/g): 950(BET-method) Activated carbon for special purpose on request |
